Instructional Strategies & Exceptional Learners

There are many ways in which our teachers can instruct your students on a day-to-day basis. We understand and respect the fact that all students will not learn the same way and we must adhere to the different ways in which they process information. A teacher may use any of the following strategies to engage active learning in the classroom.

You might wonder if your child is an exceptional learner. An exceptional learner is a student who has abilities and/or disabilities that set them apart from other students. The following resources are available to you and your exceptional learner. At the end you will find an example IEP that one of your student's teachers may use for his or her benefit.
